Little Red Riding Hood FTU tutorial

This tutorial is my own creation and any similarity to any other tut is merely coincidental.
Please do not copy and paste anywhere else and link back to my blog.
This tut was written by me July 17th, 2013.

This tutorial was done using Photoshop CS5

Supplies needed are as follows:

Scrapkit:
Cute as a bug 3
Twinky Dezines found HERE

Filters: Xero Porcelain & Xero Bad Dream
also Penta (Optional)

Font used:
Uncial Antiqua
This font can be found HERE

Tube of choice is from CDO- Pinuptoons

This is tube 173-3 . She can be purchased HERE

My Word Art: HERE

Mask #3 from Lexi Creationz Scrapz: HERE

Let's Begin:

Open a new transparent document and set it to 650x650

Take Clipart 12 and place it in the center on your project

Add drop shadow to that clip art as well as Xero Bad Dream

Add your tube, apply Xero Porcelain, Radiance & drop shadow to it.

Take String bow 2 and place it under the trees

Erase all of the excess string sticking out at the bottom

Add drop shadow to the String bow

Now merge all of your elements

You can use a mask of choice, colored blue background with some White cloud brushes

Or you can use a blue sky background paper with a mask for the last part

Uncheck all boxes on the layer palette except your Mask

Go to the Channels button at the top of the layer palette

Hold Control and click the very first box (RGB)

This will select the part of the mask you need

Now uncheck that selected part of the mask. You should still see marching ants.

Go to your paper or background, and hit "Add layer mask" button.

This is the Add Layer Mask button:

You should now have a transparent mask with no background

For this tag, I duplicated the mask by hitting right click while the mask was selected,

and went to duplicate layer until I liked the way it looked.

When you are happy with your tag, add your name and copyright.

Optional: You can add Penta: Color Dot to the name if you'd like.
